Morgan County has been awarded funding through the Home Repair and Accessibility Program (HRAP) and will soon be inviting eligible Morgan County households to apply for funds. The HRAP program is designed to assist low- and very low-income homeowners by providing funds for vital health and safety repairs and accessibility improvements. Through these activities, the program aims to preserve existing affordable housing stock, provide investment in underserved communities, improve the health and well-being of occupants, and help low-income and disabled or mobility-impaired individuals remain in their homes.
Please note that due to limited program funding, not all eligible households will receive funding.
Individual households in Morgan County who would like additional information and notification of the opening of the application are invited to visit HRAP.TECSINC.COM or call the City of Jacksonville’s Community Development office at (217) 479-4600 or email County Commissioner Michael Woods at mwoods@morgancounty-il.gov.
